Reese's Pieces Hot Cookie Dough

Is there anything as good as hot, fresh cookie dough straight from the oven? If you’re not burning yourself on chocolate in your haste to eat it, than you’re not doing it right! This hot cookie dough recipe is just oozing with chocolate and when you have a bite that’s topped with that sweet, delicious vanilla ice cream, you’ll be begging for more!

Ingredients

150g plain flour

200g light brown sugar

120g butter melted

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp sea salt flakes 

1tsp almond essence

2 egg yolks

100g milk chocolate - chopped

100g dark chocolate - chopped

To Serve

vanilla ice cream

melted chocolate

12 mini Reese’s Pieces (three for each skillet)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 175C

  2. Lightly grease 4 mini skillet pans 

  3. Melt the butter, cool slightly then add almond essence and egg yolks - mix well and set aside

  4. In a medium bowl place flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and chopped milk and dark chocolate mix really well. 

  5. Add the butter and egg mix to the flour, sugar and chocolate mix and mix until completely combined. 

  6. Divide the mixture between the 4 skillet pans and gently press into the edges. 

  7. Bake for 18 - 20 minutes until the cookie is slightly browned and it feels set. 

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 3-4 minutes

  9. Top with three reese’s pieces, a scoop of ice-cream and a drizzle of melted chocolate

  10. Enjoy!
